How To Create on Matters.com

Create is where conversations begin, connections form, and new content is generated. It’s the place to turn what matters into content and connections.

Create is built around two things: Requests and Projects.

Request is how you invite someone to interact. Requests are one-to-one. You send a request when you want to reach out to someone directly—such as inviting them to a podcast interview, starting a conversation, or proposing an idea.

If the other person accepts a request, it can turn into a Project.

Project is where stuff happens. Projects can include multiple people and are used to organize what you create over time. A project might be a podcast interview itself, an ongoing podcast series, or even a recurring piece of content—like a weekly social image generated from what matters to you.

In short:

  • Use a Request to invite someone to connect.
  • Use a Project to collaborate protectively and create content.
  • Requests can turn into Projects once accepted.
  • Projects can include multiple people and ongoing work.

You don’t need to create anything to use Matters. Create is there when you’re ready to turn what matters into something shared.
